EPISODE 976

Tension increases over Peter Holland's female relationships. Holland overhears a showdown between Lori and Tania over him. After a row with Frances, Love makes a definite move towards Vivienne Jeffries.

EPISODE 977

Ada organises a dinner party for the Holland family and their partners. It is a difficult occasion for Peter, Derek and Lori. Dennis is contacted by Warren Price and given very definite instructions, which it seems he is forced to accept.

EPISODE 978

Liz becomes over-involve with an old patient, and John Forrest shows how much he cares for her. Vivienne Jeffries befriends a young man, but may be getting into more than she bargained for.

Dennis if forced to explain what he was doing in Miss Hanley's ward and his intentions. Virginia is threatened again, and this time the girls are forced to look at the situation seriously.

Under pressure, Kate tells John Forrest the truth about Duncan Love's medical background. It seems that Paul Bishop knows more about the ransacking of Virginia and Julie's flat than they do. An old friend of Brian Denham's is employed and Graham Steele and John Forrest are not at all happy.

Things go from bad to worse for Lori Nicholls when she realises it is still Tania and not herself who is uppermost in Peter Holland's thoughts. Duncan Love gets a rude shock when Vivienne Jeffries makes it clear to him she will not be treated as his property,

Peter Holland, distraught and confused, finally makes his decision and begs Tania to take him back. Vivienne Jeffries demands that Duncan Love come clean about his past before she will consider a future with him.

Peter Holland and Tania are reunited, but it seems someone from the past will give Holland a run for his money. There are fireworks for Mark Holland when he finally meets his competitor in pathology, but before the end of the day, there are fireworks of a different kind.

Robyn Porter is excited at the prospect of Ben Fielding's return, but she gets a rude shock. Susanne Gibbs clashes with Vince Burrows about his past and the future.

Julie Holland finally realises the truth about Paul Bishop, but it is too late to save Virginia's father. Ben Fielding finally decides to be honest with Robyn and himself.

Ada is stunned and hurt when she hears the news that Peter Holland is leaving her. Mike Newman is becoming a victim of his own appeal to women.

Frances Taylor finally lays her cards on the table about her feelings for Brian Denham. Mark Holland's latest romance is progressing, but Peter and Julie wonder just how devoted Vicki really is to Mark.

Lori is not as secure as she might be with Peter Holland, and Greg Mason makes the most of it. Helen Gordon's soul searching has far reaching effects on both Brian Denham and his new secretary.

Mike Newman issues Greg Mason with an ultimatum - lay off Lori. Brian Denham makes a decision - Helen is the one for him. But Frances has not given up yet.

Sister Jeffries finds her offer of kindness to young Kit Lloyd thrown back in her face. Mark remains blissfully unaware of the fact that the new love of his life is spreading herself around.

Jody Carter covers for Vince Burrows and finds to her horror that Graham Steele is unforgiving. Peter Holland and Mike Newman have their first serious fight. The friendship is strained.

Greg Mason finally makes his move and a fun evening has an unpleasant end. Jody Carter finds that both her job and her career are on the line over her support for Vince Burrows.

Greg lets the cat out of the bag to Mark about Vicki's true colours. Ada meets a patient who stirs up bittersweet memories of her past and conflict ensues with Peter Holland.

Helen Gordon delivers an ultimatum to Brian Denham: if she can no longer walk, it is over between them. The rot is setting in between John Forrest and Liz Kennedy. It seems their clash of opinion is irresolvable.

EPISODE 1000

Brian Denham finds an all too willing shoulder in the person of Frances Taylor. Poor Dennis's attempts at a good deed have disastrous and embarrassing results.
