EPISODE 26 Young Greg Mason makes a snap diagnosis and is carpeted by Brian Denham. Denham's wife, Laura, also gives him some advice - on the facts of life. EPISODE 27 Some people will never learn! And Greg Mason realises, too late, that he should have heeded the warnings from senior doctors about his carefree attitude to his career. Helen Gordon regrets not spending more time with her teenage son. When she eventually discovers where he is living she also finds out that he is now a man. EPISODE 28 A beautiful young American singer, Abbie Singleton, has captivated the young doctors. But it is the unlikeliest one of them all who steals the heart of the famous young singer - Dr Graham Steele. EPISODE 29 The death of a patient upsets Dr Greg Mason more than his colleagues realise. Sister Scott has to make a decision regarding her relationship with a patient, Les Bradley. EPISODE 30 For the first time in his life Graham Steele is happy and in love. EPISODE 33 In his enthusiasm to impress Dr Shaw, the young orderly Dennis Jamison, puts money on some horses for the senior surgeon. The debts accumulate and Dennis turns to Jill Gordon for help. EPISODE 34 Edna Curtis has been happy and contented since she bought a small share in Bunny's Place. But when Jim Howard's future mother-in-law moves in and starts reorganising their lives, the normally docile Edna starts to rebel. EPISODE 35 As the "dead certs" continue to run last, Dennis Jamison gets more and more worried - particularly when his bookie starts phoning the hospital...Whilst the marriage between Brian and Laura Denham seems about to break up, happiness could be just around the corner for Sister Scott.. A private room is prepared for a VIP, whose secretary, Hilary Templeton, causes an upset by asking for Julie to be replaced by a more attractive nurse. EPISODE 44 What is wrong with Ada Simmonds? The popular lady of the hospital kiosk has suddenly changed. Jo-Jo wonders if Ada has a drink problem. Maureen and Jim cause a family upset by deciding not to wait for the wedding of the year. EPISODE 45 Bunny Howard, popular owner of the restaurant/disco has collapsed. All the skill the hospital can offer is recruited to save his life. Gail Henderson finds that a night she had hoped to forget is having unexpected repercussions. EPISODE 46 Brian Denham decides to do something about Ada's strange behaviour in the kiosk. He also asks his wife to have dinner with him. Millionaire Philip Winter finds a replacement nurse for himself - but the nurse refuses to take over from Julie Warner. EPISODE 47 Edna Curtis is given unexpected help in the running of Bunny's Place until Jim returns from his honeymoon. Ada arrives late for work - in an ambulance. EPISODE 48 Greg Mason considers himself to be a good judge of women, and when he is picked up in Bunny's Place he realises that the lady practices a different profession to his.
