Newman is incensed to discover that the Board has decided to assess his work. Matt suddenly remembers an important fact about the accident, but receives no co-operation when he decides to follow it up.

Forrest begins to believe Matt's story re. Karen Foster's father being violent. Steele's housekeeper is obviously going to cause big trouble. Shaw is shocked to find Helen in a terrible state - something is very wrong.
