Dr. Robert Shaw receives a blow to his ego when Sister Tania Livingston turns down his offer of marriage. Nurse Dolly Davis receives another anonymous 'Red Heart Letter' containing a threat to Chris Butler's safety for trying to protect Dolly.

Dr. Peter Holland, Dolly and Gloria rush to the hospital to find Chris has been badly bashed. Helen makes a shock announcement.
