EPISODES A + B The Interns are coming! Staff at the Albert Memorial Hospital prepare for the arrival of yet another group of interns. In a Melbourne hospital, Craig Rothwell bids a fond farewell to a sexy nurse - on the operating table. He arrives at the Albert Memorial Hospital to meet his fellow interns and to look up the wife of his Superintendent. He finds her bored and lonely and takes her out for a night on the town while her husband is away in New Zealand. Tragedy strikes and the repercussions of Laura Denham's night out with a young doctor are felt by the staff of the hospital. (Hour long special) EPISODE 1 Life goes on in the busy Albert Memorial Hospital. Find out with the new young doctors what is involved behind the scenes in Casualty, the theatre and all the other departments in this new series of drama and humour entitled "The Young Doctors". EPISODE 2 Dr Denham joins in the fight for his son's life, while his wife, Laura, makes an important decision. An attempted suicide, Edna Curtis, has an unexpected and unwanted visitor. EPISODE 3 Jill Gordon tells her mother of her intentions with regard to her future. Whilst in the hospital a midnight prowler causes some concern and confusion. Dennis discovers a long lost love, and broken legs for Andrew Jackson and Doreen Hill have a sort of togetherness. EPISODE 4 Jo-Jo Adams corners Craig Rothwell and gives him a piece of advice which he should heed if he is to follow in his famous father's footsteps. Dr Shaw has to inform Brian Denham of his findings with regard to Toby, Dr Denham's son, and Gail Henderson meets with Dr Steele for the first time in Casualty. EPISODE 5 The Young Doctors arrange an initiation ceremony involving Sister Scott, but it backfires with disastrous results. Edna Curtis decides to talk to someone about the night of the accident, and her husband Frank takes matters into his own hands. EPISODE 6 Dr Craig Rothwell faces major surgery for the first time, but he is the patient. Back in Casualty, Gail Henderson finds out a bit of what makes Dr Steele tick and his opinions of the young doctors. EPISODE 7 Jill Gordon finds out that more than dedication is required to be a successful nurse and realises that sometimes Mother is right. Craig makes a decision that surprises his colleagues. EPISODE 8 Bunny Howard finds himself in deep trouble with his bar. The young doctors could help if only they would. Dr Shaw has two decisions to make - one concerning young Toby and one concerning Craig Rothwell. And they have to be the right one. EPISODE 9 Andrew Jackson returns to hospital - but not in the way he would have wished. Dennis's troubles mount and he faces a bleak future unless something is done quickly. Ada thinks she has the answer. EPISODE 10 Sister Scott has a traumatic experience, the details of which she would rather keep to herself for personal reasons. Edna Curtis is discharged to face the big wide world - and her husband. Jim Howard thinks he has the answer to his father's problem. EPISODE 11 Sister Scott is adamant that her secret must be kept a secret. And she tells Helen Gordon why. Dennis helps Jill come to turns with herself and her future. And it looks as though Craig Rothwell will have to come to terms with himself and his future. EPISODE 12 Emergency in Casualty and Jill is on hand when the need arises. Dr Graham Steele has some straight talking with a patient and is overheard. EPISODE 13 Laura and Craig attempt to sort things out and Jo-Jo Adams is on hand to witness it all. Dr Steele has a surprise visitor in Casualty and at last there is a change in Toby's condition after the motor accident. Dr Shaw asks to see both Brian and Laura together. EPISODE 14 Bunny Howard has some news from America, but it won't help his financial problems. Edna has what she thinks may be the answer, but Bunny refuses to be a part of it. Dr Greg Mason has two nurses on his hands. EPISODE 15 A hypnotherapist, Dr Thornton, is called in to help Craig Rothwell, with surprising results. Dr Denham makes a serious allegation against Dr Shaw, who receives some news he wasn't expecting. EPISODE 16 Young doctor Craig Rothwell submits to a new technique to regain the use of his hand. He unintentionally admits he spent the night with Laura Denham, and makes an enemy of Brian Denham, his Superintendent. EPISODE 17 Dr Shaw asks Gail Henderson to run some tests on a wealthy woman patient. When he disagrees with Gail's findings, she convinces the patient not to have the operation. EPISODE 18 Dr Shaw demands that Brian Denham fire young Dr Gail Henderson from the hospital. Helen Gordon realises, too late, that her dedication to her job at the hospital has caused her son to find solutions to his problems elsewhere. EPISODE 19 A patient plays a practical joke on Jill Gordon and almost causes his own death. Dr Gail Henderson finds herself falling in love with Jim Howard after a romantic evening together. EPISODE 20 A grateful patient starts sending flowers to the woman who saved his life, Sister Scott. Ada starts rumours that romance is in the air for the spinster Sister, and the dedicated young Dr Steele is given the oppportunity of meeting his dream woman. EPISODE 21 Edna Curtis has found happiness at Bunny's Place, but the past catches up with her when Frank Curtis comes back into her life - prepared to murder her. Abbie Singleton, top female singer from America, arrives at Bunny's Place, at the wrong moment. EPISODE 22 Conflicts develop between an embarrassed Gail Henderson and Jim Howard. Their love affair is abruptly terminated and she is also on the carpet over her unorthodox approach to Dr Shaw's patient. EPISODE 23 Young Dr Craig Rothwell has a celebration party at Bunny's Place, but Dr Brian Denham forbids his beautiful wife to attend it. Dr Steele is invited to hear Abbie Singleton sing - with surprising results. EPISODE 24 Love is in the air. More flowers arrive for Sister Scott from her grateful patient, and she can't persuade the man to stop sending them. Young Dr Steele asks for time off, for the first time ever, to continue his acquaintance with the beautiful young American singer, Abbie Singleton. EPISODE 25 Helen
Gordon still tries to find news of her missing son. Dr Shaw has been divorced
